Position Overview:
Administrative Assistant reports to Claims Supervisor/Upper Management and their primary job duties are to perform administrative and office support activities.

Essential Job Functions

Fielding telephone calls
Managing calendars
Word processing
Creating spreadsheets and presentations

Marginal Job Functions

Special projects as assigned by management
Rely on training as well as guidance from Supervisor to plan and accomplish goals
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to handle heavy call volumes
Ability to work independently as well as a team player
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to multi-task
Insurance knowledge is a plus
