Assistant Event Planner Position:
Eagle Eye Golf & Banquet Center is an exciting and fast-paced hospitality business specializing in delivering premier social events of all kinds. The Assistant Event Planner position is responsible for replying to event leads from various sources, providing prospective guests with accurate and relevant information, assisting with site tours, and completing the event booking process. An Assistant Event Planner can excel by marketing our venue to outside sources, developing new leads, and finding areas to grow the business. This role works collectively with the sales team, clients, and vendors to ensure successful outcomes. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing; c ompensation commensurate with experience and/or education.
Associate or bachelor’s degree, extensive work experience, or equivalent.
Preferred two years’ experience in event planning and/or event execution.
Working knowledge of banquet, bar, and golf operations.
Experience, education, or working knowledge of corporate marketing and social media.
Excellent oral, written, and i nterpersonal communications skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel.
Experience with Caterease event planning software or a similar POS banquet/event program.
Multi-task, prioritize, work effectively under pressure and possess problem solving skills.
Maintain organized system and files, communicate professionally and effectively.
Available and open to working some evenings and weekends.
