THE ROLE

The Copywriter will create product titles and descriptions and other on-site and off-site copy for our diverse portfolio of clients. This person will work cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, Brand Managers and Project Management. The position requires experience writing online, consumer-facing copy and a deep understanding of eCommerce best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Write concise, conversion-oriented copy for various clients that is inspiring, consistent, creative, and keeps with the tone of each brand.
• Write for several channels, including email, website, affiliate and display ads, paid and organic ads, social media, blogs, and landing pages.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all copies and retrieve any missing information, and ensure copy meets legal and regulatory standards as determined by internal teams.
• Update, edit, and/or revise on-site copy requested by Clients, Partner Operations, and Content Marketing teams in a timely manner

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s degree required; English or Journalism preferred
• 3+ years of writing marketing-focused copy, agency experience a plus
• Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
• Online lifestyle and eCommerce experience required
• Able to multi-task, prioritize and resolve multiple projects efficiently, resourceful, and independently
• Excellent command of grammar
  
• Able to work independently as well as within a team
