Veterinary Medical Center of St. Lucie County is a full service day practice and 24/7 emergency hospital located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. In addition to our veterinary practices, we offer doggie daycare, feline & canine boarding, grooming and dog training.

We are seeking experienced veterinary technicians for our overnight ER department who are looking to:

*Serve clients, patients, and co-workers with empathy and sincerity

*Work in a fast paced environment and be challenged to grow in skills and knowledge

*Work as a close knit team with doctors and fellow technicians

Candidates must:

*Have a positive attitude and a superior work ethic

*Possess great customer service skills and enjoy educating clients on at home care

*Have the ability to draw blood, place IV catheters, administer IV/SQ/IM injections, and prior working experience as a veterinary assistant or technician in ER or ICU

*Be able to stand, sit, stoop or bend for extended periods

*Be able to handle fractious animals both large and small with gentle restraint

*Lift 40 pounds unaided
