Under the direction of the EVS Manager, EVS Technician is responsible for performing janitorial duties for the facility and related areas. Quality customer service will be provided to the residents at all times. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

Essential Job Functions:

• Clean building floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming them
• Gather and empty trash
• Clean and supply restrooms
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows and glass partitions
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Respond to all unlock requests from the front desk.
• Set up, arrange, tables, chairs, ladders, and to prepare facility areas for events such as banquets and meetings.

Non-Essential Job Functions:

• Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge / Mental / Skill Requirements:

• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as a team as needed to support the group effort.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.
• General knowledge of housekeeping skills.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to use equipment required for tasks; understands chemical interactions.

List tools, equipment, etc. used for the position:
General cleaning equipment: vacuum cleaner, dusting equipment, cleaning chemicals and brushes, waxing/polishing machine.

Physical Activities of the Position:

• Normally works 8-hour shift per day, however, this may be subject to change for business or care purposes.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Pull, carry 10 lbs. and push 40 lbs.
• Requires two-hand dexterity
• Ability to walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time, climb multiple flights of stairs.
• Continuously bending and stooping, standing, walking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
