The Clark manufacturing facilities have 9 work centers with processing capabilities in Liquid Flavor Compounding, Dry Blending, Extractions, Distillations, Spray Dry, Emulsions, Essential Oils, Oleo Resins, Juice Blending. We have an immediate opening for a 1st shift Maintenance Technician, the schedule is 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.

What you'll do:

As a Maintenance Technician, you're our go to person for equipment maintenance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to- building repairs, equipment maintenance and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders in a timely fashion or seeking assistance from Maintenance Manager for unforeseen issues., Following GMP's to maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.   • A to-do list that includes projects like HVAC maintenance, piping system installation, and troubleshooting unforeseen general maintenance repairs in a timely fashion.
  • Safety to be our number one priority. You’ll learn our manufacturing standards and make sure that everyone leaves as they come to work each day.

  • Responsible for all building repairs, equipment maintenance and installation for the facility
  • Maintain inventory of supplies needed
  • Follow preventative maintenance programs for important areas of operations such as trucks, motors, pumps, mixers, High Density Lubrication, lifts, Boiler Maintenance, etc.
  • Work independently and with other team member to complete repairs in a timely fashion.
  • Complete required paperwork. Document parts and material usage for repairs at the end of the shift.
  • Follow all 5S and Good Manufacturing procedures to maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.

What you'll need to be successful and safe:

Expected to be competent in the following areas;

3+ years of Industrial Maintenance with experience in all or some of the following including, but not limited to:

  • HVAC experience
  • Trouble shooting centrifugal pump and repairs.
  • Diaphragm pump trouble shooting and repairs.
  • Trouble shoot 3 phase motors.
  • Minor fabrication
  • Operate fork truck.
  • Previous experience with piping systems including steam, water and chemical.
  • Knowledge of Boilers, HVAC and wastewater treatment and documentation in a CMMS and SAP system
  • Machinery repair and installation.
  • Pumps, mixers and mechanical equipment.
  • General Electric work.
  • Plumbing, Pipefitting and welding.
  • General maintenance, such as lubrication, painting and fabrication of equipment.
  • Must be able to assess mechanical deficiencies and perform corrective actions without supervision.
  • Must have the knowledge and experience to use Fork Trucks, Lift and Dockers.
  • High school diploma or GED is required, associated degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Experience working in food/beverage is highly preferred but not required.
