Opti Staffing Group is partnering with this organization to help find an up-beat Work Order Clerk to join their team!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Receive and review work order requests from tenants and property management staff, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Prioritize and assign work orders to the appropriate maintenance technicians or external contractors, considering urgency, resources, and skills required.
• Maintain a centralized database or system to track work orders, updating statuses, progress, and completion dates.
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians, vendors, and contractors to schedule and monitor the progress of work orders, ensuring timely completion.
• Communicate regularly with tenants and property management staff to provide updates on work order statuses and address any concerns or inquiries.
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits, licenses, or approvals required for specific repair or maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, coordinating with the procurement team to order necessary items as needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to work orders, expenses, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with the property management team to identify recurring maintenance issues or trends, providing recommendations for process improvements or preventative measures.
• Support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance department by assisting with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and general office support.
