AUTO SAVE DATA Would like all entries to auto save? Is this possible? We had issues with a prior form that the user would enter all of their data and not click submit. If not, then we need a SAVE BUTTON, and if the user goes to leave the page, a popup needs to appear to say, “You did not save your information. Do you want to save now? Leaving this page will NOT submit your data. (nice big warning popup)
If we have to use save buttons versus auto-save, we will need a popup if they try to leave the page, that says, “You have not saved your entries. Would you like to save now?”
I want this to be a system that we can sell later to other companies. It could still be on our servers and on a subdomain of their domain, but it needs to be easily picked up and placed on their domain but on our servers. When done, we will probably create it on a different domain to sell it. EX: www.projectmanager.com and then put a new customer's system on https://companyA.projectmanager.com (doubt that that domain is actually available)
Development question:
In ACT, we have what is called a task series. It is a list of tasks that are assigned to either the series creator or preassigned with a priority to a specific user. Can we create this within this system. It could be a phase two? Thoughts?
Eventually, I would like for this system to be able to communicate with Quickbooks for billing. Keep this in mind as we build.
On All Tasks:
Task Priority Urgent (in Red), High, Medium, Low

LOGIN PAGE
Depending on login, the user will either be directed to the admin page, the customer’s page or the
Team Member page
Add News & Updates at the top that will allow the admin to message ALL customers with any important updates. For now, this will say, “Welcome to Your Customer Portal” Give enough space for about 300 words?
Login: with captcha and forgotten Password
Login (first time login)
User Name: Company Name or Email address-allow both to work.
Password is Company Phone number (Area code and phone) control the way it is entered by showing an example above the field or in the field.
Reset password link so the password. Allow the user to reset their password.
NOTE: We will send each client an email with instructions on how to login for the first time.
Admin can control passwords and will set them for each Team Member, but can also set them for a customer.
CUSTOMER DASHBOARD
Login Page: Tabs for Company Profile, Task Management, Support
Dashboard will contain a list of all tasks created within the last 30 days and a button to create a new task.
Fields for the task list: Task Name, Task #, Create date, Task Status.
Customer will have the ability to reopen the task and add notes to the task in case there are issues. This should change the task status as NEW, but not change the create date. The customer should get a popup to change the status to new and to save their change.
Company Profile:
Company Information: Company Name, Contact Name, Contact Email, Secondary Contact Name,
Secondary Contact Email. Company Type, Phone Number, Mobile Number, User Name, Password (ability to change password with a reset email)
New Site Design:

NOTE: We will import all of this data for the start up from the ACT customer records and then when we add a new client, we will need to be able to import a single record from ACT OR key it in manually.

List View:
List all open tasks at the top.

Create a New Task
Fields: Drop down for URL: could be dev url or live url, (If there is a dev url, then there needs to be a dropdown) Task Name, Task # (auto create this number for reference) , Task URL’s, (popup to explain that this will be the URL for the changes), control field input on this. Ability for the user to select a task and click on it to request changes or note that work was not completed correctly. This will put the task into the NEW Task listing for the admin so that it can be reassigned for Rework. Tasks will be in list view with the newest at the top of the list.

If the admin is viewing a single customer, I want to be able to see the list of completed work and have it automatically tally the amount of time of all the tasks, so I can see how much time was used on a project without having to manually add it up. That means durations should probably always be added by the designer or dev in minutes to make this easier.

When a task status is changed to completed, IF THE BILLING STATUS IS BILLABLE WORK, it will send an email to accounting@webfeatcomplete.com with the details of the work. The email will be from production@webfeatcomplete.com The subject line of the email will contain the company name and task name, task #, and BILLABLE WORK.
