JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $17.50 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Night Shift: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify truck loads (trailers) match BOL upon exiting the property
• Patrol the property midway through the shift
• Distribute packages left at the guard shack to the trucker’s information
• Sign in all visitors and vendors
• Send detail reports at the end of the shift explaining any events that may occur and BOL packages that have not been picked up by truckers
• Maintain a clean guard shack
• Enforce PPE requirements with employees, guest, and vendors
• Good attendance practices.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in security or a related function
• Read and comprehend documents including but not limited to policy manuals, safety rules/programs, operating and security instructions, procedure manuals, and simple correspondence
• Communicate information effectively one-on-one and in small group situations and settings is required
• Apply common sense communication respectfully
• Deescalate any conflicts or disagreements that may occur
• Basic computer skills, with the ability to use Outlook and Microsoft Word

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
