Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician - Temporary.

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
Job Type: Temporary.
Reports to: Office Manager.

Summary.
Our corporate office has an immediate need for a Temporary Building Maintenance Technician. Salary commensurate with experience; Hours: Mon.-Fri. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (occasional overtime required).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Proven experience in facilities management, including overseeing contractors and vendors.
Basic knowledge of facility maintenance and equipment used in building maintenance, groundskeeping, and custodial including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation, and pest control.
Organizes supplies and equipment for the facility.
Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed.
Maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities.
Change light bulbs, interior, and exterior, as needed.
On-call maintenance for the facility 24/7.
Maintain exterior property, including snow removal.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Adhere to all safety and security guidelines regarding equipment safety, guest safety, and safe chemical handling.
Hourly: $22.00 - $25.00/per hour. DOE.

Educational Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Flexible to work overtime hours including weekends when needed.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to use basic hand tools and cleaning implements.
Must be able to work in the United States without employer support or sponsorship.
