Lola’s is a locally-owned upscale neighborhood cafe & wine bar with a focus on simple beautiful food and a welcoming atmosphere. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

Supportive management is important at all of these services to ensure our service team is empowered and set up for success.

We are looking for a charismatic hospitality professional who cares about people and the experiences that people have in our cafe. In order of priority your focus on people includes making sure our team members feel supported and set up for success in their shift and ensuring that guests are made to feel welcome and important. The ultimate goal is for the team to have fun giving great service. Together with the General Manager you will help build and support this culture.

Expectations in this position:

Brunch

• As FOH manager for brunches, you would be there at the start of the day to make sure all team members arrived for their shifts and head off any problems that may arise from schedule.
• You would oversee/help the opening server and bartender ready the restaurant for a busy service
• You would make sure your brunch team is ready for a busy service by informing them of specials, soup of the day, and any service special announcements
• You would do the floor chart and section assignments
• Check In with servers and support staff during service and provide support throughout the shift
• Have a constant welcoming presence on the floor, greet and talk to guests
• Correct any problems that may arise during service to make sure guests leave happy

Weekday Dinner

• Provide the same management oversight as brunch, making sure ALL guests are welcomed and well taken care of, support FOH team with pre-service meeting/communication
• Bartend or serve throughout dinner service as well as manage during these weekday evening service that is far less busy then brunch
• Close cash drawer
• Help maintain bar/counter inventory
• Provide nightly reports to GM and owners

Pay: $500.00 - $700.00 per week
