Location: Sport One Parkview Icehouse

Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Temporary Cashier to join our team from July 18th through July 31st. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for ringing in food orders, handling cash and card payments, and providing excellent customer service to our guests. You will work closely with other restaurant staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive
• Take food orders accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system
• Handle cash and card transactions and provide change to customers
• Answer customer questions and provide recommendations on menu items
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean and organized cash register and work area
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cashier or similar role in a restaurant setting
• Excellent math and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Friendly and positive attitude towards customers and coworkers
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of basic computer and point-of-sale systems is preferred
