Insurity’s Next Senior Information Security Analyst

Seeking an up and coming expert to drive Security Operations at Insurity through hands-on and deep technical experience, an investigative and curious mindset and collaboration across the enterprise.

What Our Senior Information Security Analyst Will Do

  • Monitor and manage incoming daily threats and vulnerabilities across the enterprise
  • Participate in internal and customer-driven audits under the direction of senior Enterprise Security Team members to test the effectiveness and accurate scope of security practices.
  • Implement vulnerability management for server and network infrastructure.
  • Identify critical information security or control issues and provide emergency response.
  • Coordinate meetings and briefings for the Enterprise Security Team and other Insurity teams where recommendations for change are presented to mitigate security operational issues or concerns
  • Provide support, guidance and mentorship for InfoSec Analysts
  • Provide technical advisement internally across the enterprise
  • Support and enhance a culture that emphasizes the strategy, guiding principles and core values.
  • Working across all functions in the business collaboratively to achieve success on both InfoSec goals as well as shared Enterprise goals.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Knowledge of enterprise-level Security Operations tooling, such as Splunk, Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender, etc.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with security incident management events.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with digital forensics.
  • Knowledge of the implementation and execution of cloud security controls in accordance with NIST SP800-53 / CSF, SOC 2, and/or PCI-DSS.
  • Knowledge of managing cloud security threat and vulnerability assessment processes to monitor and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of designing baseline configuration guidelines and implementing continuous monitoring mechanisms of those guidelines for AWS cloud and Azure cloud.

Required Experience

  • Demonstrable experience with commonly used Enterprise Security tooling including EDRs, SIEMs, DLPs, Perimeter Defense, Network Security, and other core capabilities
  • Prior experiences with security incidents
  • MS Office, Workflow management systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)
  • Minimum 2 years as an Information Security analyst
  • Minimum 4 years in Information Security, IT Operations or other closely related field
  • CISSP, CISA, Security+ or other security certifications are nice to have
  • 5-10% travel may be required

Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $70,000 - $135,000 commensurate with experience.
