Hourly Base Rate PLUS Monthly Commissions/Bonuses and Full Benefits Packages.
Jamaica Cottage Shop, Inc, a privately held wood manufacturing company in South Londonderry, VT, is seeking several more experienced Sales Representatives to join the In-House Sales Team. We are a B2C direct distributor of fine post and beam buildings including storage sheds, cottages, tiny homes, garages, & woodsheds.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
  • Add to and elevate the current office culture with a friendly, upbeat, and team-dedicated personality ready to learn and rise to a new challenge.
  • Top priority is to nurture leads, close sales, and achieve sales quotas.
  • Engage prospective customers by connecting with incoming leads via website, email, phone, social media and other customer facing software by answering questions, educating, navigating on our website and/or in the display yard, and identifying the sales opportunity based on the Qualifying Lead Questions and the answers supplied.
  • Manage large amounts of inbound calls and emails in a timely but nurturing manner and shift tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Create, revise, and maintain prospective lead and customer accounts by recording account information including contact information and customer payments and deposits using our in-house system - SAP Business One CRM/ERP.
  • Assist management in the R&D of potential new products/services and/or boosting current products/services by collecting and logging lead/customer feedback and analyzing customer needs.
  • Continue to evolve and grow by keeping up to date with company, product, service, and industry information, policies, and process.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Some weekends required with a willingness to be open to a flexible schedule for the right candidate.
Qualifications / Skills:
  • Sales experience preferred but will train the right candidate who has customer service experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong, professional phone skills and presence with the ability to juggle dozens of calls per day.
  • Product and applicable market knowledge are a plus.
  • Ability to understand and achieve target goals on an individual, team, and company level.
  • Quality focus, problem solving, and documentation skills.
  • Data entry skills – TYPING IS A MUST.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including MSExcel, MSWord, Adobe PDF Reader, and Internet.
  • Use of appreciative and comprehensive listening skills necessary to critically think and evaluate what you have heard.
  • Ability to multi-task with quick shifts in direction and solid organization skills with little to no supervision.
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years previous Customer Service and Sales experience.
  • Industry knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Some college preferred or equivalent Sales experience.
Benefits:
  • Compensation: $17-19 hourly wage TBD based on experience and skills. Plus eligible for monthly commissions and bonuses. Commission / bonus structure outlined separately.
