Responsibilities

• Prepares skiver for operation by turning on machine display.

• Ensure the skiver is sharpening its blades by inspecting for small particles coming from skiver.

• Utilize the Leary System to align, set triggers and sensors to kick out bad cartons by adjusting laser position.

• Utilize alcohol test to ensure a good seam is formed on the carton by soaking in alcohol bath then pulling seam apart while visually inspecting for shininess.

• Understand and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.

Qualificatons

• 3+ years of machine operating experience

• 3+ years of mechanical experience

• Familiar with Lockout Tagout and basic troubleshooting on machinery

• Experience with flexo, and printing presses preffered

You should be proficient in:

• Machine Setups for Production Runs
• Blueprint Reading
• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Extrusion Machine
• Thermoforming Machine
• Flexographic Printing Press
