Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Unarmed Security Guards to become an integral part of our team for positions available in North Hollywood.

Shifts Available:

• 9AM to 2PM
• 2PM to 10PM
• 10PM to 6AM

Security guards will perform various duties and tasks as outlined by contract requirements and site-specific post orders.

Unarmed and Armed Security guards will be responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Unarmed and Armed Guards will act as a visible deterrent to crime and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

Responsibilities and Duties may include:

• Interaction with a variety of people including clients, visitors, employees, contractors and the general public.
• Be alert and watchful of any irregular situation that may be dangerous to community and residents
• Keeping track of daily activities and logging them properly in DARs
• Conduct patrols to ensure doors, gates, windows are properly secured.
• Monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Maintain constant surveillance of assigned areas.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Report any issues​

Requirements:

• Must Possess a valid Guard Card
• For armed security guards- valid firearms permit issued by BSIS, and must have your own firearm
• Must be able to work 4-12 hour shifts, without issue
• Must have reliable transportation to and from all worksites, and must maintain updated contact information
• Security Uniforms with Black Shoes must be worn pressed & clean while on duty.
• Ability to sit, walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must have integrity and desire to protect and serve
• Strong attention to Details.
• Must be punctual.
• No Experience Needed

Weekly schedule: Our guards need to be flexible as this position may require the guard to work different locations from day to day. The ideal guard will be willing and able to cover call offs, provide extra coverage, and work at our new accounts and will either be Full-time or Part-time, as needed - work hours are not guaranteed. All schedule assignments are subject to change at any time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
