NOTE: The Store Manager is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Management Team.
It is the shared responsibility of the entire Management Team to run the store & execute all of the responsibilities below
o Managers set the tone in the store. They set the example and establish what is acceptable and what is not.

o This is our #1 priority. The business lives or dies on how well we take care of our clients, and the reputation that promotes.
o Frustrated clients should be contacted immediately. Always try to resolve their concerns and get them back in.
o Managers should periodically call recently cancelled members to discover the cause of the cancellation and see if there is any way to convince them to return.
o $300 to any team member that refers a friend that becomes a FT employee, over 90 days.
o Interview and hire and keep a full staff.
o Conduct technical interviews for new candidates.
o Train staff up to all G.O.A.T. standards.
o Keep a pulse on the comradery and morale of the team. As a group and each person.
o Conduct informal one-on-one meetings monthly.
o Be observant and report any concerns to HR management.
o Deliver management message and goals on a weekly basis.
o Organize quarterly team meetings, with the assistance of Regional Leadership.
o Organize continuing-education, with the assistance of Regional Leadership.
o Hold one-on-one meetings with each team member, every month.
o Other quarterly and annual meetings, as periodically scheduled.
o A manager or an assistant manager must be in the store at all times.
o Only managers, assistant managers, and key holders are authorized to have a store key, and are responsible for opening and closing the store each day.
o Managers must work full time (32 hours per week or more).
o Managers must work at least 1 Saturday per month.
o Only managers can settle and close the till, balance the cash, and make deposits.
o Only managers should run tip reports and perform Tip Outs to staff
o Only the GOAT playlist should be played in the store.
o Monitor the TVs and keep them on and avoid them going to “sleep”
o Prepare staff schedule, always at least 2 weeks in advance at all times.
o Manage staff time off requests using EddyHR.
o Keep aware of and balance the needs of the team
o Audit and approve time-clock reports every other week and provide to accountant for processing.
o Open / close stores
o Cash deposits, withdrawals, and changing denominations
o Report time-clock adjustments to management
o Request additional supplies each week (Use Supplies Request Form)
o Help Stylists / Receptionist with computer issues, including changing memberships, refunds, returns.
o Oversee that marketing initiatives are tracked, as necessary, by keeping a tally of incoming coupons.
o Guide client communication, especially when clients are upset.
o Responsible for creating purchase orders and placing new orders
o Cycle counts
o Receiving new orders
o Merchandising
o Organize the store into zones and assign each employee to a zone.
o Each manager is responsible for a zone.
o Ensure that your zone is cleaned throughout each day and at end of day.
o Conduct a deep clean monthly.
