Position Description
Responsible for scheduling all facets of surgeries for assigned Ambulatory Practice sites, obtaining all necessary patient demographics, insurance, and financial information for all scheduled patients prior to date of service, and working with insurance companies to ensure high quality/cost efficient medical outcomes for patients needing precertification or preauthorization. Also responsible for estimating and collecting financial obligations and routes patients for financial assistance, accordingly. An expectation of this individual is ensuring all financial requirements are met.
Position Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and 2 years or more in medical scheduling, insurance benefit verification and/or precertification. Databases, spreadsheets, operating systems. High face-to-face volume customer service. Microsoft Word, Excel. Correctly spell diagnoses, procedures, patient names. Interpersonal skills. Work with multiple specialities.
Preferred Requirements
Vocational or technical training or degree. 4 years or more of experience in medical scheudling, insurance benefit verification and/or precertification. HFMA, NAHAM, AAHAM, CPC or equivalent.

Under the leadership of the District Manager, directly leads the Merchandise Manager, Customer Service Manager, and all associates of a store.
Ability to analyze and configure data for reporting purposes. Develop reporting using data stored in our business intelligence software. Up to 10 Paid Holidays.
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio. Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.
Identify critical information security or control issues and provide emergency response. Prior experiences with security incidents.
