Position Summary:

Warehouse Clerk/Driver

Mission of the position

Help maintain smooth office operations, by undertaking both clerical and administrative tasks and complete them in a timely manner.

Roles and responsibilities

• Assist in shipping, receiving, warehouse & inventory management.
• Assist in cleaning & maintenance of facility and equipment.
• Assist laboratory in sample receiving and preparation.
• Supports the Administrative Department with clerical duties.
• Accurately enters data and information into network database.
• Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, stationery etc.) and report when there are shortages.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail (envelopes, packages, etc.).
• Delivery and pick-up of mail (envelopes, packages, etc.) within the downtown area of Saint Charles.
• Delivery and pick up of customer samples in the Chicagoland area.
• Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues.
• Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related duties as needed, and perform other related tasks as assigned.
• Requires valid driver's license, car insurance and occasional local driving.
• Ability to lift items up to 40 lbs.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of office devices and processes.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.

Experience

• Proven experience as warehouse clerk or driver for at least 1 year.

Education

• High School Diploma

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
