The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Comfort Advisor/Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our HVAC products and services to new and existing customers. You will identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their HVAC systems are functioning properly, and you will provide expert advice on the latest HVAC technology and trends. This is a commission-based position, and your success will be directly tied to your ability to generate new business and increase sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
  • Create sales proposals that are accurate and complete, that can be easily transferred to the installation team.
  • Create confidant buyers by providing complete and accurate information about our products and pricing.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase revenue
  • Provide expert advice to clients on the latest HVAC technology and trends, as well as guidance on system maintenance and repair
  • Conduct on-site consultations with clients to assess their needs and recommend the most appropriate products and services
  • Prepare detailed proposals and quotes for clients, and negotiate pricing and contracts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to provide the most effective solutions to clients
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to generate leads and promote the company's products and services

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC sales or a related field
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of HVAC technology and trends, as well as system maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales.
  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC sales or a related field a plus
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Familiar with local codes and can speak to company product lines.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of HVAC technology and trends, as well as system maintenance and repair
  • Financial acumen including the ability to determine if a job is profitable and what operational activities affect positive or negative results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation: This is a commission-based position. Compensation will be based on sales performance and will be highly competitive for successful candidates.
